How many bee products are there?

Did you know that only one in ten consumers and honey enthusiasts can list all bee products? Bees specialize in six products, three of which they source from nature and the other three they produce with their glands. They collect nectar from flowers to make honey, then pollen, and then propolis from the buds of some plants. Wax, royal jelly, and bee venom are products of the worker bees themselves. All these, valuable as gold products, are used in human nutrition, cosmetics, and, of course, pharmaceuticals. This is why a bee colony is often referred to as a “perfect natural laboratory.”
