Anyone who stood on the ground of Macedonia felt it radiate a life force that does not exist anywhere else in the world. It is as if the sun never sets, but continues to shine, warming the soul. In this magical land, the best life has to offer is preserved\u2014human warmth, love for beauty, happiness, and essential, organic naturalness. In this fairytale-like setting, legends spring up at every step. These legends are not merely stories but precious traditions that preserve the most valuable from being forgotten. True legends, full of life. And some, the most precious, remain untold.<\/p>

One of them is the legend of Medenica. Legend of a place where a miraculous elixir is created, unique in the world. In this fairy-tale-like setting, legends emerge, precious traditions that prevent the most valuable from being forgotten. It is said that when travellers find themselves at the foot of Mount Bistra, from Medenica, its peak, they can hear the primal call. They feel a calling deep inside their soul they must follow.<\/p>

And so, step by step, they begin their journey to the mountain peak. They pass houses with smiling hosts sending them off to discover a new life, its strength yet to be revealed. They journey through untouched nature that defies eternity with its mere existence. They travel by a river with crystal-clear water, whose babbling brook heralds the symphony ahead. They pass Medenica by shrines-built centuries ago, inspired by the call of a higher power, knowing it is here, under Medenica, that they should endure and testify to all this magic. Here, within reach of Medenica ‘s peak, the traveller stops to rest. Then something happens that has never been written down and is only retold by those that have experienced it. The air is filled with the intoxicating scents of the healing mountain herbs of Medenica. They bring new life into the travellers\u2019 body and soul. Their strength returns, filling them with joy and clarity. The feeling of eternal youth enduring. The flowers, life crowns of the indigenous mountain plants, release their rich essential fragrances and envelop the air. All that the noble herbs have collected throughout the year, from the divine, untouched nature, they present at the altar. And in the air, one feels a miracle, as if everything, drop by drop, turns into an elixir.<\/p>
